August 2026 promises a spectacular celestial event with a rare twin eclipse. A total solar eclipse on August 12 will darken skies over Greenland, Iceland, and northern Spain. This will be followed by a partial lunar eclipse on August 28, visible across North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. Unfortunately, neither event will be visible in India.
