The Three-day National Rural Infrastructure Summit is taking place in Indore, India from January 8-10. The summit will be divided into seven categories, based on the level of access each participant will have. The participants' identities will be verified using a QR code. The access schedule for each group will be finalized from the prime minister. Around 12,500 police officers will be on duty during the summit, and around 300 will be stationed at strategic locations throughout the city.

Tension gripped Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir today after carcasses of three cows were found behind the office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

The minister from the bhopal medical education department, Vishwas Sarang, spoke on Friday about the installation of a genome sequencing machine in the state virology laboratory at Gandhi Medical College. He said that the machine can be used to sequence 96 samples of Covid virus simultaneously. He also said that instructions have been given by the central government to the state government for genome sequencing of all positive cases of Covid virus. He said that genome sequencing is currently being done in AIims in Bhopal, and that machines have also been installed in Gandhi Medical College and in Indore and Gwalior Medical Colleges. He said that preparations have already been made by the state government for accurate testing and treatment of Coronavirus. He also said that a periodic calendar has been prepared for the smooth operation of the oxygen generation plant, and that mock drills of oxygen plants are being done every month. He informed that at present about 43,000 beds are available in the state, and that whatever instructions are received from the union health ministry will be followed completely.

In a major push for 100% vaccination in Madhya Pradesh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday ordered that everyone taking government benefits should be asked about their vaccination status. A house-to-house survey is on the anvil to identify those dodging the jab.
