Participants divided into 7 categories for NRI Summit

The Three-day National Rural Infrastructure Summit is taking place in Indore, India from January 8-10. The summit will be divided into seven categories, based on the level of access each participant will have. The categories are: VIPs (including heads of state, president of India, and prime minister of Guyana and Suriname), VVIPs (prime ministers, governors, and other high-level officials), delegates (central and state government officials, special invitees, and support staff), media, exhibiters, and participants (including supporting staff). The participants' identities will be verified using a QR code. During the summit, it was decided that participants will be divided into seven categories- VIPs, VVIPs, delegates, media, exhibiters, participants, and supporting staff. The access schedule for each group will be finalized from the prime minister. Around 12,500 police officers will be on duty during the summit, and around 300 will be stationed at strategic locations throughout the city.
