'Uriyadi' star Vijay Kumar has hinted at joining Dhanush's upcoming film, 'D56,' directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu. A social media exchange between Vijay Kumar and the director fueled speculation about his potential involvement. The project is in its early stages, with Tamizharasan currently scouting locations. Vijay Kumar is also preparing for his film 'Arivu' release.

The story revolves around Petthaperumal and Paandi in the village of Maaviduthukotai, Sivangangai. They both are a happily married couple for some time until the pressure of conceiving a baby falls on them and thereafter affect their emotional and physical bond. The societal stigma of not conceiving a baby is thrust on a woman. The fake masculine identity crisis thrust on a man. How as a married couple they overcome the society burden of back biting and the shame through various pressures from the closed circles to the outer circle. The heat cold and finally the rain of love unfolds in this movie Veppam Kulir Mazhai.

MS Bhaskar plays a key role in this film, which also has actress Rama in its supporting cast. Kuttram Kadithal’s composer, Shankar Rangarajan is doing the music for this film.
