Mumbai building collapse: The death toll in the Mumbai building collapse mounted to 21, with four more casualties being reported in the afternoon, police said.

BMC officials at the spot said preliminary cause of the crash could be the extremely heavy rains that lashed Mumbai on Tuesday. The seven-storey building on Pakmodia Street was home to five families, a playschool on the first floor and two commercial establishments.
