A family meeting to resolve marital issues turned tragic in Bareilly. Afzar Khan allegedly attacked his wife Saima Khan with a knife. He then fatally stabbed his mother-in-law Asma and brother-in-law Adil. Saima Khan sustained critical injuries while intervening. Police are investigating the incident and searching for the accused.

A day after allegedly killing his mother-in-law and brother-in-law and injuring his wife during a family panchayat, Afzar Khan was shot dead in a police encounter. Police claim Khan opened fire when intercepted, injuring two officers, and was killed in self-defense. The initial incident involved a domestic dispute escalating violently.
