Tollywood director Venu Sriram who directed Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab (2021) and ‘MCA’ (Middle-Class Abbayi) with Nani was earlier reported to be working on a subject for Allu Arjun titled ‘ICON’. As per the Tollywood film circle's latest updates, the film is said to be shelved. The project was supposed to be produced by Dil Raju.

If reports are to be believed, ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun has heard the script of ‘ICON’ from ‘Vakeel Saab’ director Venu Sriram. But Allu Arjun has reportedly left the project due to his existing projects.

After quite some time, ICON is back in news again. During a latest interaction with a TV channel, director Venu Sriram who is presently helming ‘Vakeel Saab’ with Pawan Kalyan confirmed that his much-anticipated project with Allu Arjun is still on cards and he is in touch with Allu Arjun occasionally.

If the on-going speculations are anything to go by, Raashi Khanna has been approached by director Venu Sriram to play the leading lady in his upcoming film ‘Icon’ with Allu Arjun. According to a source, the gorgeous bombshell has also expressed keen interest to do the film and agreed to allocate bulk dates.

Nitin, a prominent Tollywood actor, has consistently shown his deep admiration for Pawan Kalyan, and this continues in his latest project. He is set to star in a film directed by Venu Sriram, the director of Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab.' The movie, titled 'Thammudu,' is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. It revolves around the theme of sisterly relationships and marks the 56th film produced by the banner.

Lately, there has been a lot of buzz around the Telugu remake to Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink. The film will be directed by Venu Sriram.

Sapthami Gowda, a well-known Kannada actress, is reportedly making her debut in the Telugu film industry with the upcoming movie 'Thammudu,' directed by Venu Sriram and co-starring Nithiin. After years of speculation, producer Dil Raju has confirmed that the much-anticipated film ‘Icon’ will no longer star Allu Arjun. The film, which was originally announced before the release of Pushpa, has been in limbo due to the actor’s packed schedule and increasing market demand post-Pushpa’s massive success.

During a recent interaction with a TV Channel, director Venu Sriram revealed some interesting deets about this much-anticipated project. Confirming that the final copy of the film will be ready by December, he said that the changes made to suit PK’s body languages will be a treat for his fans.

Allu Arjun is one of the leading actors who has a huge cult fan following not only in Telugu but also in Malayalam and Kannada film industries.

Nithiin sustains injuries while shooting for 'Thammudu', a homage to Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab'. Shooting on hold as Nithiin is advised three weeks of rest. Fans are praying for his recovery. 'Thammudu' directed by Venu Sriram features Nithiin and Sapthami Gowda in lead roles. The movie is reportedly said to show Nithiin in a different perspective. The technical crew of the film consists of cinematographer Satyajit Pande.

Nani will be seen sharing the screen space with ‘Premam’ actress, Sai Pallavi in ‘MCA.’

Either NTR, Ram Charan or Allu Arjun will be playing the lead role as they have been approached by the makers.

The pre-production work of the film is proceeding at a rapid pace and according to inside sources; the makers are trying to rope in a prominent Bollywood actress to bring a pan-Indian appeal to the big-budget project.

According to reports, Pawan Kalyan has reportedly decided to reprise Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Telugu remake of Pink. The Tamil version of the courtroom drama, Nerkonda Paarvai which starred Ajith in the titular role has already scored a superhit at the box-office.

Directed by Venu Sriram, the movie was earlier scheduled to release on May 15, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie has been postponed.
