Two men were found dead in Chatra on Tuesday. One body was discovered in a forest near Kamta village under Tandwa police station. The deceased was identified as Tupa Bhuiyan. The second body, of an unidentified man, was found near Ledhiya river under Mayurhand police station. Investigations are ongoing for both incidents.

The case was registered after complainant Vignesh Jadhav (22) who is a business partner of the accused approached Ulhasnagar Court that directed the police to register FIR in the case.

In a tragic incident in West Singhbhum district, a jeep carrying 14 passengers collided with a trailer at Kuida village, resulting in three fatalities and ten injuries. The jeep, en route to Karanjia in Odisha, had eight passengers riding on its roof when the collision occurred.

A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a dustbin in Matwari locality of Hazaribag, police said.
