Nandan takes Anumol and Chandran to Mangalalathukavu. He enquires about the happening in Anumol's life in recent times. Hesitantly, Anumol narrates the struggles she had gone through. In order to console him, Chandran says that he is planning to compose music for a movie and Anumol will get a chance to sing a song in that. He also promises that he will make Anu a popular singer.

Padmini sees Bhadra and starts panicking. She doubts that Bhadra came to get the money from her.

Padmini decides to follow Chandran and find out about his work.

Padmini goes to Mohan’s room and enquires about Anu and Nirmala. Mohan lashes out at her saying that they will not return because of Padmini's cruel treatment.

Next morning, Nirmala panics as Chandran is missing from the room. She searches for him everywhere in the room but can not find him.

Both Mohan and Nirmala are doubtful about the change in Chandran's behavior.

Nirmala tries to stop the driver but he leaves without Anumol. Nirmala lashes out at Padmini for troubling them. Padmini questions who will take care of Anu's expenses and says that she will inform the child line authorities regarding this unauthorized adoption.

Chandran meets Nirmala and enquires why she is upset. Nirmala lies that Padmini's comments have hurt her. She also mentions that Padmini has informed her about transferring Nandini from the school.

Seeing Pappikunju struggling to repair a car, Chandran joins him and tells that he will fix it. Pappikunju stops him saying that he is a renowned musician now. Chandran replies that he is not ashamed of being a car mechanic too.

The southwest monsoon hit Kerala on Tuesday as forecast by the Indian meteorological department (IMD).The monsoon is expected to strengthen in the next four days in most parts of the state.

Fresh spell of heavy rains in central and north Kerala on Thursday brought hopes of more showers amid concerns over 24% deficient rainfall between June 1 and July 12.
