After the screen adaptation of Sally Rooney's award winning second novel 'Normal People', news is that her 2017 debut novel Çonversations with Friends' will be made into a TV series.

Irish director Lenny Abrahamson is set to helm a new film in Dublin, featuring British actor Tom Burke and Irish star Eve Hewson. The project, set in the late 1970s Dublin Jewish community, also introduces newcomer Shane Meagher. Abrahamson, acclaimed for "Room" and "Normal People," will reunite with Element Pictures for this upcoming production, with filming commencing next month.
