Cassandra Clare, author of bestselling series ‘The Mortal Instruments’ has finally got first part of her novel on screen released on 21st August. TOI caught up with the author turned script-writer and tried to trace the journey of the series of novel into a movie.

Harald Zwart directs action thriller Betrayed, written by Antony J. Bowman. The film, produced by Onphaya, explores controversial themes as an archaeology professor challenges religious beliefs with the discovery of ancient biblical text fragments.
