International Boxing Association (AIBA) President Umar Kremlev has told Referees and Judges for the men's world championship here that a failure to ensure "fair fights" would lead to their permanent exclusion from the world body and might leave the sport with "no future".

The International Boxing Association (IBA) has taken legal action by appealing to the Swiss Federal Tribunal, challenging a ruling made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The CAS had previously rejected the IBA's appeal against the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) decision to revoke the boxing governing body's Olympic recognition. The IOC's move came in response to the IBA's inability to address concerns related to its governance, financial practices, and ethical standards.

International Boxing Association President Umar Kremlev said that referees and judges, who "violate" AIBA rules, will be excluded for life as the world body pledged "zero tolerance" towards those not judging "fairly" ahead of the Asian Championships here.

The International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) team of ‘observers’ from Lausanne hasn’t shown up at the women’s World Championships here until now to monitor the IBA and its ongoing governance reform, practices and activities.
