Singer Sonam Kalra whose music amalgamates teachings of different faiths, says Sufism has taught her to accept all truths and believe that all truths have their own substance.

Musician Sonam Kalra, who is known for her unique style of blending music, poetry and different genres, has won three Global Music Awards in one year. She won a gold and silver medal for her compositions, including one based on the poetry of 17th-century Sufi poet-saint Baba Bulleh Shah. Kalra is trained in both Indian and Western styles of music and was recently invited to become a voting member of the US Grammy Recording Academy. She says the awards prove "music truly has no borders".
