Kannada drama 'Kshetrapati', a rural socio-political saga, is finally arriving on JioHotstar on February 26, 2026. The film, starring Naveen Shankar, chronicles an engineering student's return to his village to confront agrarian struggles and corporate exploitation. He rallies farmers for direct marketing, supported by a journalist, in a fight for fair returns.

The portrayal of motherhood in Prashanth Neel's KGF has resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact. The character of Shanthamma, played by Archana Jois, became highly memorable. Initially hesitant about playing a mother's role at her age, Archana eventually accepted the role and was pleasantly surprised by the response. Hondisi Bareyiri, set to release on February 10, marks the debut of Ramenahalli Jagannatha who is originally from an engineering background.
