‘Romantic’, starring Akash Puri and Ketika Sharma, is written by Puri Jagannadh and directed by Anil Paduri. The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under his home banners ‘Puri Connects’ and ‘Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies.

Akash Puri and Ketika Sharma play the lead roles in the film.

Puri Akash’s next with director Anil Paduri is slated to release on May 29, 2020. On Monday, his filmmaker father Puri Jagannadh, who is producing the film, took to Twitter to announce the release date of the movie along with a new poster.

As reported earlier, Boyapati Srinu was trying to narrate a new subject to Allu Arjun however the actor declined the offer due to the date issues as he was busy filming for his ‘Pushpa-2’. With this having no second thought the ‘Akhanda’ director has reportedly moved on to narrate his storyline to yet another star of Tollywood, Ram Pothineni.

Along with ‘iSmart Shankar’ starring Ram, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh in lead roles, Charmee is also co-producing Puri Akash’s upcoming film ‘Romantic’ helmed by debutante Anil Paduri.

Speculation is rife that Ram will make a special appearance in Akasha Puri and Ketika Sharma starrer Romantic. A source close to the film's unit revealed that the makers approached Ram with the request and he immediately given his nod to do it.

According to confirmed sources, famous TV celebrity and Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi has given her nod to essay a pivotal role in the film. She has recently joined the team in Goa and her pictures from the shoot are currently doing rounds on social media.

The film is directed by debutant Anil Paduri.

The release dates of both the films will be announced soon.

Sources reveal that the hot bombshell will have a small-yet-glamourous role in the big-ticket action entertainer. While ‘Maharshi’ fame Pooja Hegde is essaying the female lead, the big-budget film features some noted actors like Tabu and Boman Irani in crucial roles.
