Xovian Aerospace secures $2 million strategic investment
Bengaluru-based Xovian Aerospace has announced a $2 million strategic investment from noted investor Ashish Kacholia, reinforcing confidence in its mission to build an AI-native RF satellite infrastructure from India for global markets. The round also saw participation from IPV, following last year’s $2.5 million pre-seed funding led by Piper Serica. The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate the launch of Xovian’s first AI-native RF satellite, expand its engineering and AI teams, and strengthen commercial partnerships. The company is now entering its execution phase, progressing toward its first on-orbit mission and scaling its constellation to deliver real-time RF intelligence capabilities worldwide.Xovian Aerospace is tackling a critical gap in satellite sensing. Traditional systems rely heavily on optical data, which often miss obscured or covert activity. By contrast, Xovian’s vertically integrated network of AI-powered RF satellites extracts intelligence from the radio frequency spectrum — an underutilized but highly revealing data source. This approach enables real-time situational awareness, asset monitoring, and predictive insights across defense, maritime, aviation, infrastructure, and disaster response sectors.
Co-founders Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma established Xovian in 2019 with the belief that the most critical signals shaping the world are often invisible. “This investment is a strong validation of our vision to build a globally relevant RF intelligence infrastructure from India. As we move toward our first on-orbit mission, our focus remains on delivering a system that not only observes but understands and anticipates risk,” said Sharma.Xovian’s differentiated approach lies in its end-to-end ownership of the stack — from satellite design and deployment to data processing and intelligence delivery. This integrated model ensures higher data fidelity, lower latency, and scalable innovation cycles. As climate volatility and geopolitical risks intensify, Xovian aims to position itself as a category-defining intelligence infrastructure provider, predictive, real-time, and globally accessible.
