Google celebrates India’s 77th Republic Day with space exploration Doodle

Google has created a special doodle to mark India’s 77th Republic Day. This year’s doodle pays homage to the country’s achievements in space exploration. The colourful and vibrant illustration highlights the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and its pioneering role in advancing science and technology.

The doodle created by Google showcases a rocket launch which is surrounded by the motifs of satellites, planetary orbits and India’s tricolour, symbolising the country’s growing presence in space. The artwork also reflects India’s pride in ISRO’s recent milestones, including successful lunar and solar missions, and its expanding role in global space collaborations.

Republic Day commemorates the adoption of India’s Constitution on January 26, 1950, marking the country’s transition to a sovereign republic. The Republic Day celebrations consist of various cultural events which are designed to honor the resilience, history and diversity of the country. Like every year this year also the day will be celebrated with a ceremonial parade. The Republic Day parade will take place in New Delhi which will consist of tableaux from each state and dozens of bands and folk dances.
