The event, which brought together technology experts and senior leadership, was an "immersive showcase" of the company's innovation and platform-first strategy. During the media briefing, Flipkart's leaders, including SVPs Bharath Chinamanthur, Ramesh Gururaja and Sandhya Kapoor, who are responsible for supply chain, consumer growth and central platform, respectively, outlined their vision to lead India's e-commerce market by focusing on new technologies and innovation-led growth.

Flipkart Tech Day 2025 outlined the company’s plans for The Big Billion Days (BBD), focusing on user experience, personalisation, and operational readiness. The company claims that the app interface has been updated with a redesigned homepage featuring visual navigation, motion design, and haptic feedback. The order details page now provides clearer shipment visibility through a simplified layout.The company has introduced an AI-powered semantic search that improves query interpretation, while recommendation tools match products to user preferences. The Feed, an infinite scroll interface, supports visual discovery and adapts to browsing patterns.
Flipkart is expanding video-led shopping through Creator Cities in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Gurugram, along with Creatorhood, a platform for remote video creation. Video modules are integrated across the app, and sections like Play and LiveShop display personalised content.The loyalty structure has also been revised: Flipkart Plus now includes Silver and Gold tiers with SuperCoin rewards and early access benefits. Flipkart Black, a paid membership, offers services such as YouTube Premium, Cleartrip flexibility, and cashback options.On the fintech front, Credit For All allows instant EMIs for existing and new-to-credit users, while a co-branded SBI credit card provides cashback on Flipkart and partner transactions.Platform reliability is ensured through infrastructure fault simulation, which helps maintain stability during peak traffic. In logistics, the Wishmaster App (for delivery executives) also enables faster onboarding, WhatsApp communication reduces failed deliveries, and automated payouts streamline settlements.For sellers, the Seller Hub has been rebuilt for efficiency, and the NXT Insights platform offers free AI-based analytics.
