Airtel is targeting fans of 90s and 2000s animation. The telecom giant has launched “Airtel Cartoon Network Classics”, bringing a bunch of favourite cartoons to all Airtel set-top box users. According to the company, this exclusive value-added bundle is priced at Rs 59 and has been developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery.The dedicated channel will serve as a permanent home for iconic cartoon franchises, such as Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, Johnny Bravo and several other classics. Airtel says that this channel will offer an uninterrupted, ad-free experience“Airtel Cartoon Network Classics adds a unique entertainment layer to our portfolio and offers customers a chance to reconnect with iconic stories and characters that are loved even today. We are pleased to make this channel available to all our DTH & IPTV users and look forward to bringing more such curated experiences to our customers,” said Pushpinder Singh Gujral, DTH-Business Head, Airtel.

Airtel Cartoon Network Classics price

Priced at Rs 59 per month, the service is accessible on Channel 445. The channel is available in both English and Hindi on both Xstream set-top boxes and IPTV, and non-connected HD and SD set-top boxes. Airtel said that since the service is built into the existing Airtel Digital TV ecosystem, those interested can watch the content without requiring any additional equipment or complex installations.
“Through our collaboration with Airtel, we are pleased to bring these iconic favorites to Indian screens in a new and accessible format,” stated Arjun Nohwar, Managing Director, South Asia, Warner Bros. Discovery.

How to activate ‘Airtel Cartoon Network Classics’

Airtel customers can subscribe to this channel in three ways:
  • Direct activation via the Set-Top Box interface.
  • Placing a Missed Call from the registered mobile number.
  • Using the Airtel Thanks mobile app.
