Samsung is all set to unveil its latest flagship Galaxy S-series smartphones today (February 25) at the company’s first Galaxy Unpacked event for 2026. Samsung will launch the latest Galaxy S26 series at a launch event in San Francisco, US. The company is expected to launch three smartphones in the series — Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The series will succeed the last year launch Samsung Galaxy S25 series and is rumoured to come with improved features including privacy display.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch event will start at 10 a.m. PT (11.30 PM IST). Samsung will live stream the event on its official website and YouTube channel.
Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra: Expected specifications
Among all upcoming phones, Galaxy S26 Ultra has been subject to numerous leaks. Leaked images of the phone show the overall shape identical to last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. But the camera module appears to be updated with a new design similar to that of Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Quick review and AI features
The smartphone is said to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Under the hood, the phone may come with a substantial performance boost by incorporating the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Like last year, this chipset may also be optimised for Galaxy phones. The processor will reportedly feature up to 16GB of RAM and internal storage options up to 1TB.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to come with the best camera that the company has to offer. The quad camera setup is suggested to come with a 200MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP Telephoto camera lens with 5x optical zoom and an additional 10MP shooter. The handset is believed to run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Coming to the battery, the smartphone is rumoured to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 60W wired charging – up from 45W in Galaxy S25 Ultra model – and 20W wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series pre-reservation in India
Those interested in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S series can pre-reserve the smartphones. The pre-reservation started February 11 with a refundable token amount of Rs 999. Pre-reservations are available through multiple channels, including:

Along with the new Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is also expected to launch the latest Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro true wireless earbuds at the event. The earbuds are expected to come with a new design and sport some Galaxy AI features.
