Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 to launch today: How to watch the event, what to expect and more

Samsung is all set to unveil its latest flagship Galaxy S-series smartphones today (February 25) at the company’s first Galaxy Unpacked event for 2026. Samsung will launch the latest Galaxy S26 series at a launch event in San Francisco, US. The company is expected to launch three smartphones in the series — Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The series will succeed the last year launch Samsung Galaxy S25 series and is rumoured to come with improved features including privacy display. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch event will start at 10 a.m. PT (11.30 PM IST). Samsung will live stream the event on its official website and YouTube channel. Among all upcoming phones, Galaxy S26 Ultra has been subject to numerous leaks. Leaked images of the phone show the overall shape identical to last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. But the camera module appears to be updated with a new design similar to that of Galaxy Z Fold 7. The smartphone is said to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Under the hood, the phone may come with a substantial performance boost by incorporating the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Like last year, this chipset may also be optimised for Galaxy phones. The processor will reportedly feature up to 16GB of RAM and internal storage options up to 1TB.Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to come with the best camera that the company has to offer. The quad camera setup is suggested to come with a 200MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP Telephoto camera lens with 5x optical zoom and an additional 10MP shooter.
