Speaking during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick re-confirmed the GTA 6 launch date. Zelnick also revealed that developer Rockstar Games is preparing to kick off its official, massive summer marketing campaign for the title in the coming weeks.

The company also said that it projects 20% growth in Fiscal 2026 midpoint. “We project net bookings to range from $8 to $8.2 billion, which represents 20% growth over fiscal 2026 at the midpoint, primarily driven by the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19th, along with successful execution across our entire portfolio,” the company said. Fans had been speculating that Rockstar would drop a surprise third trailer ahead of Thursday’s financial call. While the studio held back from releasing new footage, the corporate briefing made it clear that the wait for new information is almost over.The game’s third trailer, alongside official pricing packages and digital pre-order details, is now expected to drop this summer. Industry insiders expect the media drop and pre-order phase to go live between June and July.
Zelnick described the scale of the upcoming release to Wall Street investors, calling Grand Theft Auto 6 “arguably, the most anticipated entertainment property of all time.”The economic projections shared during the earnings call highlight the huge financial scale backing the launch.

Take-Two confirmed that its marketing and launch expenses for the title will drive the company's total operating expenses up to a staggering $4.18 billion to $4.2 billion. This represents an 8% year-over-year increase, signaling an upcoming, historic advertising campaign.To support this milestone fiscal year, Take-Two also announced plans to launch six additional video games alongside GTA 6, including its highly profitable annual sports franchises: NBA 2K, WWE 2K, and PGA Tour 2K.Grand Theft Auto 6 is officially scheduled to land exclusively on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. The game’s development cycle has been a tense ride for the gaming community. The title was originally slated for a late 2025 arrival before suffering two consecutive internal delays. Furthermore, Rockstar has kept a tight lid on production secrets.
