"Are you going to introduce somebody with so much hype with nothing?" - AEW star says NXT made a mistake with Giulia's debut

Giulia was first introduced to the NXT universe at the No Mercy PLE and a week later on NXT. Her debut got a lot of interactions from the crowd and went off pretty well. Giulia took the ring and immediately got face-to-face with the NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and even took out Chelsea Green.Now, Giulia is also set to face Perez for the title when NXT debuts on the CW network. Despite having such a strong segment planned for her debut, AEW star Thunder Rosa believes that NXT missed out on properly introducing Giulia to the fans. Let’s take a look at what she had to say about the situation during her conversation on Busted Open Radio:“Why the f**k are you going to introduce somebody with so much hype with nothing? No story, no video package, nothing. Also, this woman…the way that she presented herself in Stardom, she presented herself as a superstar. She says that the latter is a superstar and will be going after the NXT Women’s Championship. So, it becomes increasingly important for the fans to know who Giulia is, why she was signed and what’s her motivation to be going after the championship belt.A simple video package would have answered all of these questions, and it might even result in louder pops for Giulia. However, there is still plenty of time to set up her character before she takes on Roxanne Perez. Before fighting the champ, Giulia will be taking on Chelsea Green during her in-ring debut on the upcoming episode of NXT.Following her match against Green, Giulia will have the chance to feature in two more NXT episodes. This gives her more than enough time to properly introduce herself before she goes after the belt. A video package would’ve worked, but Giulia introducing herself feels more natural and could end up producing better results.
