Congress trains observers to strengthen booth-level structure
In Patna, the Bihar Congress kicked off its innovative 'Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan', a strategic initiative designed to enhance party cohesion and empower local activists. Key figures highlighted the importance of solidarity, advocating for social equality and a clear process for choosing leaders.
Patna: The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee organised a meeting and training programme for observers appointed by the state Congress committee at Sadaqat Ashram in Patna on Monday. The programme marked the launch of the “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan” in the state.Bihar Congress state in charge Krishna Allavaru and state president Rajesh Ram addressed the observers, outlining the objectives of the campaign and emphasising its focus on unity, social justice and empowerment of grassroots workers.

Addressing the gathering, Rajesh said, “Providing organisational strength to the party through the Organisation Creation Programme is the primary objective. Under this programme, selected colleagues will be entrusted with major responsibilities and greater authority within the organisation.” He added that observers appointed by the state unit would assist and coordinate with those appointed by the All India Congress Committee.“Together, we will strengthen the Congress ideology down to the booth level and ensure due respect for every colleague’s contribution.
Alongside this, we will also reinforce the fight for social justice by ensuring appropriate representation of all social groups,” Ram said.Leader of the party in the legislative council Madan Mohan Jha said the Congress party remains committed to ensuring meaningful participation of its leaders, adding that the programme would inspire new members to join the party and contribute to socio-political work.In charge secretary Shahnawaz Alam said the programme had already been conducted in other states and was launched in Bihar to further strengthen the organisation. “Through this initiative, a structured and transparent process for selecting office-bearers will be ensured,” he said.Meanwhile, state observers received online training from central war room chairman and MP Shashikant Senthil and national secretary Vamshi Chandra Reddy.
