WWE RAW Results & Highlights 19-jan-2026: CM Punk retains World title, AJ Styles puts his career on the line, major betrayal, and more

WWE Monday Night RAW kicked off its January 19 episode live at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland. The show continued the road to the Royal Rumble PLE and featured two classic World titles, one of them having a shocking conclusion. Apart from that, the show featured other explosive bouts and AJ Styles making a huge decision.

The show opened with Gunther's arrival, who continued to gloat about the legends he has retired and his victory over AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One came down to the ring and reminded him that he did tap out in their match. A back-and-forth heated argument led to Gunther saying that Styles can have another match against him at the Royal Rumble, only if he agreed to put his career on the line. Later that night, Styles accepted the challenge.

Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri

This match was for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. The challenger, Maxxine Dupri, had her mentor, Natalya, in her corner as she went up against Becky Lynch. However, in a shocking twist, as Dupri had Lynch beat and went for the pin, Nattie put Lynch's leg on the rope to break the pin. The Man later won the match, and a shocked Dupri was attacked by The Queen of Harts post the match.

6-man tag team match

Rey Mysterio teamed up with Penta and Dragon Lee to square off against Austin Theory, Logan Paul, and Bronson Reed in a six-man tag team match. The highly exhilarating action between both teams concluded with Penta dropping Logan Paul and hitting him with the Destroyer to win the match for his team.

Je'Von Evans vs. El Grande Americano

The match began at a good pace between the two dynamic superstars. However, a few minutes into the bout, Je'Von connected with a springboard clothesline, which did not land right, and he got injured. The referee awarded the bout to El Grande Americano via referee stoppage, and Evans walked away holding his shoulder.

CM Punk vs Finn Balor

The main event featured CM Punk defending his World Heavyweight Championship against hometown hero Finn Balor. Both men produced one of the most captivating and spectacular title matches in RAW history. Neither wanted to stay down and kept coming back for more. The highly intense bout came to an end with Punk hitting the GTS to win the match. After that, he shook Balor's hand in respect and they both embraced as the show came to a close.
