The WWE Night of Champions 2025 has been an amazing night filled with some incredible matches. After an okay-ish King of the Ring match, where Cody Rhodes took the crown after beating Randy Orton, it's time for the Queen of the Ring match and
Asuka and Jade Cargill are both ready. After beating Alexa Bliss and Roxanne Perez respectively, these two women have come to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to secure their one way ticket to SummerSlam 2025, and fans are going absolutely wild.
Asuka and Jade Cargill give a show for Queen of the Ring
Asuka made her entry to the beats of Rock music and her mask on, hyping the crowd. Jade Cargill came in next, and showed the crowd her charm. But things seemed a little tamed after that exciting match between
Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. Cargill was the bigger opponent against Asuka, but the latter knew how to exploit her short stature against someone like The Storm.
The Empress of Tomorrow, at the very beginning, went for her opponents knees, trying to start strong. 4-Time world champion Asuka showed why she stayed undefeated for so long as she took on a much bigger opponent in Cargill, who was hoping to win her first solo title in
WWE. Fans witness a Fallaway Slam by Cargill on Asuka, followed by a kickdrop, but the latter turned things around again.
The opponents threw a couple punches at each other, but Asuka showed why she is a powerhouse.
She used the Asuka lock on Cargill and almost had The Storm pinned, a win within her reach. But The Empress fell short when the segment came to a sudden end when Asuka went for the Empress Impact, only to be intercepted by Cargill. Finally, Cargill defeats Asuka to get the win.
Jade Cargill became the Queen of the Ring winner, heading to SummerSlam 2025. She declared that a Storm was coming to SummerSlam, and fans will have to wait and see where this one lands. Unless things change in the time being (which is quite possible), it will be either Tiffany Stratton or IYO SKY who will stand against her on her road to glory.
