Veteran wrestler Saraya, a three‑time women’s world champion, recently dropped a major hint about her plans to make a comeback at the upcoming WWE Evolution 2. Rumors are doing the rounds that the
WWE legendary figure is making her return at the upcoming premium live event scheduled to be held on July 13, 2025.
Saraya happens to be one of the most popular figures of WWE of her time. She is known for winning the WWE Divas title twice, and was the most youthful ever to come out on top for the championship at 21 years old years 233 days old. She was additionally the debut NXT Women's Champion and the first individual ever to hold the two titles simultaneously.
Despite dominating and capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship at the All In event in August 2023, Saraya announced a hiatus late in 2024 to pursue personal projects. Let’s take a look at what the WWE star is planning.
Saraya drops a hint about her WWE comeback
Former AEW star Saraya has recently dropped a potential hint about her WWE comeback on her social media account. The star who has been out of wrestling for certain personal commitments has finally decided to step up again in the squared ring this time at Evolution 2 on July 13, 2025.
Ahead of
WWE’s all-women’s PLE, Evolution, on July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia, Saraya asked on X/Twitter if the show was occurring this weekend: “Evolution is this weekend?” Though it appeared innocent, the message quickly set the wrestling world ablaze.
Fans wasted no time interpreting the post as a sign that Saraya might be making a major appearance.
This has not been confirmed by WWE yet, and fans are speculating that she might make a comeback. Although many fans want to see the Saraya return to the Stamford-based promotion, the former Divas Champion is not confident about it.

Grue Rume Show, Saraya shared, “I kind of wanna take 2025 to do acting and all that kind of fun stuff, but one day, I would love to. I mean, Rhea’s amazing. She’s a powerhouse. Everybody there. The women’s roster there right now is stacked, so yeah, it’s incredible, and they’re doing really wonderful things. I don’t know if there’s even a place for me there right now, but… I get that a lot. I’ve got that in other interviews, too. Everyone’s very like, ‘Go home.’”

However, the WWE icon also expressed uncertainty about whether she still fits into the current locker room of the Stamford-based promotion or not.
