Former United States Champion hinted at possible return to WWE SmackDown in London

A top WWE star has hinted at his return after not being seen on television programming for an entire month.WWE has limited spots and television time for its superstars for both RAW and SmackDown every week. A top star who had been making waves on SmackDown for a while had been absent for a few weeks. As the blue brand gears up to present its show this week at the O2 Arena, it seems that the aforementioned superstar might also make an appearance.Multi-time and former WWE United States Champion Andrade El Idolo has been absent from WWE television programming for almost a month now. However, he took to his X to drop a photo revealing that he was in London and claimed to the see the fans tonight. Andrade tweeted, "Amsterdam!! Amazing City!! So much cavial see you tonight London."His last appearance came on the February 28th, 2025, edition of SmackDown. During that show, he faced the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu in a US title No.1 contender qualifying match, where he failed to win the match. That has been his last match in WWE in almost a month.Andrade El Idolo left AEW at the end of 2023 and made his return to WWE as a surprise entrant in the 2024 Royal Rumble match at the namesake event. Since then, he has been a regular fixture of SmackDown and has been prominently involved in the United States title picture. Moreover, the fans also witnessed his series of matches against the upstart WWE star, Carmelo Hayes.Moreover, Andrade himself has been pursuing the WWE United States title since making his return. But so far, he has been unsuccessful in his quest. As the road to WrestleMania 41 is still underway, there is a chance that Andrade can still find a spot in the match card, and that could begin should he make his return to SmackDown tonight in London, England.
