What if the famous call, “D-Von, get the tables!” echoed through a
WWE arena one more time? Fans who grew up watching The Dudley Boyz dominate the tag team division may soon get their wish. But it is not that simple. Bubba Ray Dudley has finally spoken about the chances of a return, and it’s not a straight yes. The possibility is there, but only under the right conditions.
For years, the WWE Universe has wondered if one of the most legendary teams in sports entertainment would ever step back into the ring together. Now, a recent interview with Bubba Ray has reignited that hope, but there’s a twist.
Bubba Ray Dudley teases a reunion under special terms
Bubba Ray Dudley last wrestled at the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia in late 2024, where he teamed up with Trick Williams. They went up against
Ethan Page and Ridge Holland, but the match ended in defeat. Still, this appearance showed that Bubba Ray’s love for the ring is alive.
Speaking with TVInsider, Bubba Ray Dudley shared his thoughts on a potential reunion with D-Von Dudley. He clarified that they would love to reunite but only if everything feels right.
“Of course. I think the entire WWE Universe would love to scream, ‘D-Von, get the tables,’ one last time. If it would be up to me and D-Von, it would be yes, we would love to do it one last time. It has to be with the right team standing across from us. It has to be at the right venue, city and right event.”
Bubba also imagined his perfect return on the biggest possible stage.
“Hell, I’d love to do it at AT&T Stadium, Texas stadium with 101,000 people screaming one last time, ‘D-Von, get the tables.’”
The Dudley Boyz’s Hall of Fame legacy lives on
The Dudley Boyz, known for their tables and thrilling tag team matches, have not been seen together in WWE since 2016. Their last WWE appearance was on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, where they faced
Sami Zayn and
Neville in front of their hometown New York crowd.
D-Von Dudley has not ignored the idea of a comeback either. In past interviews, he has said that health issues might make a return difficult, but he has not fully closed the door.
The Dudley Boyz were rightfully inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018, a moment that celebrated their unforgettable career. Still, fans believe their story is not fully over yet. Whether or not the tables get smashed again, the Dudley Boyz will forever remain one of WWE’s most loved tag teams.
