Monday Night Raw kicked off with a controversial backstage segment. Roxanne Perez made a shrine for Liv Morgan, who has been out due to injury. The setup included candles, plants and a photo of Morgan. It looked similar to the appearance of a tribute. They are built to acknowledge the death of a performer. The segment created confusion and received backlash from the fans. However, Raquel Rodriguez appeared to clear the air on Morgan’s injury status.

Roxanne Perez sets up a shrine for Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is still healing from her injury. However, a segment in the recent episode of Monday Night Raw created confusion for many. Roxanne Perez, who replaced Morgan for Women’s Tag gold, made a shrine for the former champion. It was visible during a backstage segment of the latest Raw episode. The segment saw the Judgement Day member reliving their previous wins. Breaking the momentum, Raquel Rodriguez appeared and was shocked, looking at the shrine. She stated, “Y’all, she is alive. She has been rehabbing every day. She is gonna be back real soon.”
Despite Rodriguez’s optimism, not everyone in the team shared the feeling. Finn Balor stated, “I wouldn't be so sure about that.
You remember I hurt my shoulder? It took me eight months to recover. And I think it's a good picture.”Raquel Rodriguez will now be defending her Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Roxanne Perez at Evolution 2.

Fans slam WWE for the controversial Liv Morgan segment

Seems like the light-hearted segment was not funny to all. Fans across social media platforms criticised the company for the segment. One of the fans wrote, “Was this supposed to be funny? It was stupid.”
Another fan believed that it was an insult to the personalities that the sport has lost in recent times. They wrote, “Pretty odd to do with all the celebrities we have lost recently”
“Whoever posted this, needs to be fired immediately”
A fan confusingly wrote, “Wait I’m confused she died, (I haven’t watched tonight episode yet) I thought she was injured irl not that she died from injury, anyway thoughts and prayers”
It is not known when the wrestler will return. However, Morgan has not been out of the storyline. Her injury is now being used by the company to weave segments across different events.
