Lakhs of devotees across Bihar offered morning prayers to the rising sun on Tuesday, marking the end of the four-day Chhath Puja festival, with gatherings at the Ganga and other water bodies for the traditional 'Usha Arghya' ritual.The Patna district administration arranged safety measures at over 100 ghats along the river to prevent any incidents during Bihar's biggest festival.Medical camps were established at various ghats in Patna to ensure devotee safety during the celebrations.Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in the Chhath Puja festivities at his official residence, 1 Anne Marg, on Tuesday morning with his family members.The festival was also celebrated at the homes of several politicians in the state capital.The four-day festivities commenced on October 25 with the 'Nahai Khai' ritual, occurring on the sixth day of 'Kartik Shukla' and six days after Diwali.The district officials ensured proper arrangements were made for the smooth conduct of the festival at numerous locations across the region.
