With five wins in six games since Bowness became their head coach, the franchise was looking to extend its winning streak to three games. But with the game rescheduled, Columbus will now have to wait till Wednesday as they host the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Kings, meanwhile, were coming off a hard-fought shootout victory against the St. Louis Blues themselves. The franchise had won their last two games as well, but with the outing against Columbus scratched, they wait till Tuesday night as they travel to Detroit to face the Red Wings.
