Lauren Kyle McDavid is reshaping how
NHL families show support on game day, blending fashion, identity, and community in a way rarely seen around the league. As the wife of Edmonton Oilers captain
Connor McDavid, she is widely known, but her growing influence now comes through her creative work for players’ partners across teams.
Her latest designs surfaced during the 2026 Stadium Series weekend, where custom jackets became a quiet talking point away from the scoreboard. What stood out was not branding or flash, but the personal touch that turned simple outerwear into symbols of belonging for hockey families.
Lauren Kyle McDavid designs custom jackets that unite NHL families
Lauren Kyle McDavid designed personalized jackets for Alessandra, the fiancée of Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman, and other Bruins partners ahead of the outdoor game at Raymond James Stadium. Each jacket featured last names, player numbers, and a stitched patch, creating a shared look without crossing team identity lines. Alessandra highlighted the gesture in a video from the stands, saying, “So Lauren McDavid made our jackets. She did our last name and number. We have a patch right here. Go, Bruins.”
The timing added meaning. The video followed Boston’s dramatic 6-5 shootout loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday.
The Bruins raced to a 5-1 lead by the second period, with Morgan Geekie scoring twice and Charlie McAvoy adding two assists. Tampa Bay responded with four unanswered goals, three on the power play. Nikita Kucherov posted a goal and three assists, Jake Guentzel sealed the shootout, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 29 saves. Despite 11 penalties, Boston stretched its point streak to six games.
Kyle McDavid’s work reflects her broader business footprint in Edmonton. She runs the interior design firm Kyle & Co, the furniture showroom Trove Living, Bar Trove, and the lifestyle brand Sports Club Atelier. She is also the author of the cookbook Atelier Table. Her designs now travel with the league, offering players’ families a sense of unity during high-pressure events.
While Lauren’s reach grows, Connor McDavid continues to anchor the Oilers on the ice with 34 goals and 61 assists for 95 points in 56 games. Edmonton faces Toronto on Feb. 3, while Boston meets Florida on Feb. 4, testing consistency against the defending champions.
