Trevor Lawrence and Marissa Layne Lawrence met in 2016 while attending high school in Georgia. Their relationship grew during Trevor’s college football years at Clemson.



In April 2020, Trevor proposed to Marissa at Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium, a place tied closely to his football success.

The couple married in April 2021, just weeks before Trevor Lawrence entered the NFL Draft. Their family grew on January 4, 2025, when their daughter Shae Lynn Lawrence was born.

While Marissa addressed family rumors, Trevor Lawrence stayed focused on football. The Jacksonville Jaguars earned their fifth straight win after beating the Denver Broncos 34–20 on Sunday, December 21.

The Jaguars are now preparing for a road game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on December 28. They will close the regular season at home against the Tennessee Titans on January 4 at EverBank Stadium.
