Recently, the “SPEAK” show on FS1 sparked debates on social media as it debated what has transpired with Belichick's future. According to Johnson, the perfect fit for Belichick will be the Jacksonville Jaguars, saying Trevor Lawrence could use the proven QB developer in Belichick.
Jaguars vs. Bengals: The Debate Begins
But Pierce argued that Johnson was wrong to exclude the Cincinnati Bengals from consideration, suggesting that Belichick might be well-served to take over the Bengals job with young quarterback Joe Burrow-a potential star, to help him compete for a championship.
Pierce highlighted how the Bengals already have a number of elite QBs and its the Jaguars who require more of Bill’s mentorship, and experience and leverage his skills to win the championship this year and lead their team to victory for the first time. It is going to be interesting how the team will perform under his leadership, after a disastrous season.
