NEW DELHI: Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Chris Braswell has announced his decision to enter the NFL draft, joining teammates Dallas Turner and JC Latham in pursuing a professional football career. Braswell shared the news on Thursday through a post on his Instagram account.

In his statement, Braswell expressed gratitude for his time at the University of Alabama, highlighting the achievement of his primary goals, including winning a national championship and earning his degree. He acknowledged the invaluable experiences, lifelong connections, and indelible memories created during his tenure with the Crimson Tide.


Braswell capped off his collegiate career as a standout performer, finishing the season second on the team with eight sacks, trailing only fellow linebacker Dallas Turner.


Throughout the season, he showcased his defensive prowess with 42 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, a blocked kick, and a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown against Mississippi State.
