UP Bypolls Election Results Live Updates: BJP leads in 6 UP bypoll seats; SP strong in 3, says EC trends
The BJP and its ally RLD lead in six of nine seats in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly bypolls, with the Samajwadi Party (SP) ahead in three, according to Election Commission trends.
In Meerapur, RLD's Mithilesh Pal leads with 18,281 votes. The BJP holds strong leads in Kundarki (Ramveer Singh by 64,690 votes), Ghaziabad (Sanjeev Sharma by 38,007 votes), Khair (Surender Diler by 19,884 votes), Phulpur (Deepak Patel by 3,877 votes), and Majhawan (Shuchismita Maurya by 2,772 votes).
Meanwhile, the SP leads in Karhal (Tej Pratap Yadav by 23,655 votes), Sisamau (Naseem Solanki by 14,536 votes), and Katehari (Shobwati Verma by 2,929 votes).
The BJP retained its dominance in previously held constituencies like Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhawan, and Khair. The SP continues to lead in Kundarki, Katehari, and Karhal. The RLD, now allied with the BJP, leads in Meerapur, a seat it held with SP in 2022.
The Congress supported the SP in the bypolls but did not contest. The BSP and AIMIM fielded candidates across multiple constituencies, while the Azad Samaj Party participated in eight of the nine contests.
