NEW DELHI, June 10: The mystery surrounding the death of former Pakistani coach Bob Woolmer continues to deepen.
While several reports are now suggesting that the death could have been due to natural circumstances, close associates of Woolmer are refusing to believe this.
Former South African Captain Clive Rice has alleged that the death of his friend was not natural.

He also alleges that if the bookies were involved in the murder of Woolmer, they could have got to the Jamaican Police as well.
"If poison was involved how can the death be natural? And if Woolmer died naturally, the pathologist would have definitely known within 24 hours. There were statements that said he died of poison, strangulation...how could you just cover it up like that? Bob's body also had a bruise. How could the bruise have occurred due to the pathologist's examination? Everyone knows that you can't bruise when you are dead as the blood stops," Rice said.

Under a cloud of fear
In this sensational, exclusive interview to TIMES NOW in Cape Town, Rice says that players and coaches now live under a fear that what happened to Woolmer could happen to them as well.
"If the bookies were involved in Woolmer's death, did they get to the police as well? Maybe Bob uncovered something and that was the way to stop all of this from coming out. I'm afraid this is a cover up again and sometime there needs to be a whole lot of explaining done to satisfy all the cricketing public," Rice said.
"Suddenly, all the players and coaches are feeling vulnerable that it could happen to anyone if such a thing can be covered up citing natural causes. That is why we need a whole lot of answers."
Formal announcement on Tuesday
Meanwhile, TIMES NOW contacted Jamaican Police authorities, who said that an official announcement on the death of Bob Woolmer will be held on Tuesday.
The press conference to be held on Tuesday morning will be addressed by Police Commissioner Lucius Thomas.
Commissioner Thomas will read a statement outlining the results of post mortems, toxicology tests and other investigations conducted into Woolmer's death. However, the police were unwilling to disclose details of the report.
