Chance to recover for Lahore Badshahs
HYDERABAD: Fridays blockbuster turned out to be a damp affair with the floodlights bringing the Lahore Badshahs vs Hyderabad Heroes opening match to an abrupt end.
The Badshahs lost by 18 runs via the VJD method after they were able to bat for only six overs in which they made 30 for two while chasing 166 for victory.
The fancied Pakistan side, however, have another chance to get into the groove as they take on Royal Bengal Tigers in the ICL Twenty20 Championship at the Lal Bahadur Stadium, on Sunday.

The visitors can take heart from the fact that they have an impregnable record against the Bengal Tigers, whom they have beaten twice in the last edition of the tournament earlier this year.
This gives the Badshahs the perfect opportunity to dust off the rust that has set in due to their inability to train and practice because of the month of Ramzan.
The Tigers, on the other hand, have more than one reason to maul the Badshahs. After being at the receiving end last season, the Tigers, who lost by seven runs in the closely fought semifinal, know that the Badshahs are most vulnerable at this stage of the tournament and a win against them would do their confidence wonders.
