Yudhra Box Office: Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer earns only Rs 8.60 crore over the weekend
Siddhant Chaturvedi made a splash in movies with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy as MC Sher. Post that, many big production houses lined up to cast him in his productions like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Phone Bhoot, Gehraiyaan. With his latest film Yudhra, Siddhant for the first time went solo, but the film has met with a not so enthusiastic response from the audience.

The film released on Friday, on the occasion of National Cinema Day, where ticket prices were as low as Rs 99, thus taking the day 1 total to Rs 4.5 crore collection. But since then on, the film has been struggling at the box office. On Saturday, the film crashed by more than 60 % to collect just Rs 1.75 crore, and on Sunday the collection was Rs 2.35 crore as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 8.60 crore. The film will require a serious change of fortune to survive in the times to come with NTR Jr’s Devara releasing on 27th September and Shraddha Kapoor led Stree 2 also going into overdrive, as it crosses Jawan’s collection in the next few days.

Post Yudhra, Siddhant has two major films lined up , one is Dhadak 2 with Triptii Dimri which is backed by Karan Johar, another being Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production with Mrunal Thakur, directed by Ravi Udyawar.
