Armaan youngest to slam ton in Talim

15-year-old Armaan Jaffer became the youngest batsman to score a hundred in the Talim Shield (45 overs-a-side) tournament when he smashed 106 (80b, 16x4, 1x6) as Parkophene beat Khar Gymkhana by 21 runs in their opening match on Monday.
The teen batting sensation, who has staked a claim for a berth in the Mumbai One-day side with this knock, was out off the last ball of the innings.
After being put in, Parkophene raced away to 368 for nine as Parag Khanapurkar too scored 121 (76b, 5x4, 7x6). Hosts Khar Gymkhana scored 247 for five in reply, with Ravi Shinde top scoring with 93.
