“You might see me”: Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton teased a potential appearance at the next WWE Royal Rumble

Tyrese Haliburton, one of the NBA's biggest stars, hinted at attending WWE Royal Rumble 2025 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. "I can't tell you everything, but you might see me at the Rumble," Haliburton said.Haliburton spoke with Buford about his top five wrestlers of all time: John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Shelton Benjamin, The Undertaker, and Roman Reigns, and his Mount Rushmore of WWE finishers: RKO, Swanton Bomb, Hell's Gate, and Sweet Chin Music.Haliburton, a huge WWE fan, hyped up a fight with New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson during SmackDown in late June. The rivals were accompanied by Logan Paul and LA Knight. The showdown occurred less than two months after Haliburton's Pacers defeated Brunson's Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals. No results were ever announced between the two rivals.In September, Haliburton appeared on WWE NXT, facilitating a championship match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams, with Pacers teammates supporting him and discussing negativity with Orlando Magic fans.
