Brandin Podeziemski who is popularly known as Podz and Airpodz spoke about his performance against the Pelicans. The 21-year-old athlete went on to secure a score of 11 points along with 3 assists and 5 rebounds. However, Podziemski struggled with his shooting style and addressed it during a post-game interview. He said-
“I just have to trust the work. Right now it seems like I can't, you know, throw a rock in the ocean if I wanted to but um you know I think like you said I try to impact the game in as many ways as I can and control what I can control.

He further added-
“And so, nights like tonight – didn’t make a three, but I found ways to impact the game, and I think that’s why I was out there late.”
Poszoemski’s awareness about his struggles with respect to the game speaks volumes about his emotional and mental maturity. After defeating the New Orleans Pelicans, the Steve Kerr-led team has already fixed their spot in the 2024-25 NBA knockouts.

During a press conference, Steve Kerr spoke about Podziemski’s shooting issues. The coach pointed out the young athlete’s underconfident behavior on the court. Kerr said-

“He’s not shooting much confidence right now. I think that’s obvious. This is part of being in the NBA. … Everybody goes through stretches where, you know, you just don’t quite feel it.”
Steve Kerr even spoke about looking into Podziemski’s issue and even vowed to help him. The Warriors’ coach said-
“The way he shot at the end of last year, all summer, watching him in camp. He’s a really good shooter. So, he will find it. We gotta help him a little bit. Right now, he is just not in rhythm,”
