Tyrese’s Haliburton’s father, John Haliburton, has been a constant support to his son throughout the NBA Finals series. However, the Indiana Pacers’ star had been facing a series of injuries during his recent games. In Sunday’s match, Tyrese Haliburton suffered what was later revealed to be an Achilles injury to the right leg that was already injured in the recent games. Later in the first quarter of the game, John Haliburton was seen in tears after his son’s dreadful injury, which led to him walking out of the game soon after it started.

John Haliburton, who had been incredibly supportive of his son’s performances, couldn’t hold back his tears after Tyrese Haliburton was severely injured in the game. Due to this unfortunate event, the Pacers had to rule him out of the game. One of Pacer’s fans tweeted on X, “Tyrese Haliburton’s dad’s reaction to his son's injury…heartbreaking!”. “John Haliburton, Tyrese’s dad, couldn't hold back his tears after Hali got injured,” said another fan. With a series of comments flooding social media, fans are shattered by the unfortunate circumstance.
Tyrese Haliburton was already struggling from a right calf strain during Game 5 of the NBA Finals. After being injured in the same leg, the Pacers' star player looked shattered as he had to be escorted to the locker room.
Fans are calling it the most “brutal” moment since they were expecting him to lead the team. Haliburton had made three three-pointers on the way to nine points before being struck by this brutal incident.Without their A1 player, the Pacers, who had been scoring well, started feeling the pressure when the Oklahoma City Thunder lead 25-22 at the end of the first quarter.
Tyrese Haliburton is one of the leading players of the Indiana Pacers, who buried shots that either tied or won games in every single series.
