The Los Angeles Lakers rookie and LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, has been making waves in both G-League and the NBA. While he has yet to secure regular play on the main roster of the Lakers, he has been consistent in the G-League. Of course, the South Bay Lakers standout star has also been a regular target for criticism, but he has been determined to prove his prowess beyond his dad’s influence. James recently shared his thoughts on his rookie season in a candid interview.

Bronny James shared his reflection on his rookie season in the NBA

Bronny James’ first year in the Los Angeles Lakers has been quite dramatic. While he showed promise in the league, he remained in the headlines for many reasons— one in particular, for his father LeBron James’ confrontation with Stephen A. Smith for criticism on Bronny.
Bronny, however, has been quite focused on his own goal. The Lakers rookie has recently shared his thoughts on his first year in the team in a candid chat with Spectrum SportsNet.“I felt like I got better. Grew as a player and person,” Bronny James shared. “There’s more work to be done. I feel like my progression has been slow, but I’m getting better every day…The preparation and thinking the game as much in the Playoffs, and their intensity, yeah, I am ready to be open-minded and learn every game,” he added.
Bronny James was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, just three picks from the end of the night. The 20-year-old is the eldest son of LeBron James, the league’s all-time leading scorer and a four-time NBA champion.“Beyond blessed,” Bronny posted on Instagram after hearing his name called. It was certainly one of the biggest moments of his life. “There’s never been a father and son to share an NBA court,” said Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka at the time. “That feels like something magical. If LeBron chooses to return, that history could be made. And it should be made in a Lakers uniform.”Also Read: "I don't understand why people want Bronny to become his dad": LeBron James' former teammate defends the James duoLeBron and Bronny later went on to create history together.
