When questioned about his opinion on logging these many minutes and the physical toll, Durant responded with, “I feel great, that’s what I get paid to do. I get paid fifty-something million dollars to be available and play.”

Through the 41 games this season, Durant averaged 36.9 minutes per game while putting up 26.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists, combined with his impressive 51.6% shooting from the field and 40.6% from the arc.

Durant’s most recent outing against the Detroit Pistons served as a perfect reflection of his calibre. He also knocked down five of his six free-throw attempts. His performance helped the Rockets register a 111-104 over the Pistons.
