NEW DELHI: The New Orleans Pelicans secured a 112-105 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday night, with Brandon Ingram leading the way with 26 points. Ingram's crucial 3-pointer ignited an 8-2 run in the final 2:35 of the game, helping the Pelicans seal the win.
Ingram's three-pointer gave the Pelicans a 102-98 lead, and Dyson Daniels contributed with a smart bounce pass to Trey Murphy III, who hit a three-pointer.
Larry Nance Jr., playing for the first time in 14 games, followed up with a cutting dunk on a feed from Zion Williamson, extending the lead to 107-100.
Despite the Jazz closing the gap to 109-105 on Lauri Markkanen's free throws with 38 seconds left, Murphy's three-pointer with 18 seconds remaining secured the victory for the Pelicans.
Zion Williamson had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while CJ McCollum added 22 points. The Pelicans outscored the Jazz 62-42 in the paint.
Collin Sexton led the Jazz with 26 points, Lauri Markkanen had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Walker Kessler contributed 11 points.
The win snapped a two-game skid for the Pelicans. Up next, the Jazz will host the Miami Heat on Saturday night, while the Pelicans will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
