In this game, Edwards achieved two different milestones. He became one of the few players to reach the 10,000-point benchmark before turning 25. However, this is not the only record achieved by the athlete. He became the third fastest athlete after LeBron James and Kevin Durant to reach the benchmark.

The Timberwolves are now on a 4-game winning streak. Their previous wins were against the Miami Heat twice and the Washington Wizards. With this recent win, the team has now built up a strong competition for their opponents. Edwards continues to maintain his average score, leading the team to its victories.

Anthony Edwards does not look like he wants to slow down anytime soon. The 24-year-old athlete yet again set another record, becoming the third fastest player to reach the 10,000-point benchmark. The only players before him to showcase such impressive gameplay included LeBron James and Kevin Durant. LeBron was the youngest player to reach that milestone in the game against the Boston Celtics. He was only 23 years old back then and was with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kevin was 24 years and 34 days old when he crossed the milestone and became the second youngest player to do so. Now, Edwards joins the league.


While Edwards became the third fastest player to score 10,000 points, it automatically places him in another group of legendary athletes. This is the list of athletes who scored the benchmark before turning 25. It included athletes like Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic. Edwards' achievement is a much-deserved one owing to his performance in this season so far. The athlete is currently averaging 29.2 points with 5.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
