‘Toxic': Kiara Advani, Nayanthara to Rukmini Vasanth: Meet the leading ladies of Yash’s highly anticipated comeback film

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ is a high-budget pan-India film, reportedly costing up to Rs 500 crore. The movie will release in multiple languages, including Kannada and Hindi, and is set to clash with ‘Dhurandhar’ at the box office on March 19, 2026. With this powerhouse cast, the film is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest cinematic events.

Kiara Advani was the first cast member to be revealed, portraying the character Nadia. The actress called the role “challenging,” and her first look with tears in her eyes hints at the film’s intense and dark fairytale tone. After a difficult 2025, with ‘Game Changer’ and ‘War 2’ failing at the box office, Kiara will be hoping for a strong comeback with ‘Toxic’.

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi joins the ensemble as Elizabeth. Her character exudes regal elegance, which is evident from the first revealed look. Huma, who has been dominating OTT with acclaimed performances in ‘Maharani’ and ‘Delhi Crime 3’, brings her signature intensity to the film.

South superstar Nayanthara, fresh off her success in ‘Jawan’, is also part of Yash’s film. Rumors suggest she plays Ganga, Yash’s sister, a role originally offered to Kareena Kapoor. Nayanthara’s presence adds star power and heightens anticipation for the film.

Tara Sutaria portrays Rebecca, a character with a formidable aura. Her first look shows her with short hair, confidently holding a gun, perfectly capturing the character’s dangerous edge. This role adds a fresh and bold dimension to the film’s ensemble.

Rukmini Vasanth rounds out the leading female cast as Melissa. Last year, she impressed audiences in Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, delivering a memorable villainous performance that contributed to the film’s worldwide gross of over 800 crore. Her first look in ‘Toxic’ has already drawn praise for its style and intensity.
