Shandilya steers Central to Rlys cue title

MUMBAI: Hosts Central Railway comprising Ashok Shandilya, Faisal Khan, Siddharth Parikh, Virendra Kumar, Sunil Ghadge and Joe Thomas won the team title with 11 points in the 41st All India Railway Cue Sports Championship that concluded at the CR sports ground, Parel on Sunday.
Central Railway team were also came first in snooker and 8-ball pool Team, second in the 9-ball pool and third in billiards event.
Western Railway (Rupesh Shah, Kamal Chawla, Varun Taneja, Shekhar Surve and VM Tambe) came second in billiards and in snooker.
Ashok Shandilya won the individual billiards title while Western Railway's Kamal Chawla clinched the snooker.
