"The girl has all the qualifications," - Tommy Dreamer gives verdict on NXT star Giulia's debut

A lot of people were looking forward to the debut of NXT star, Giulia. The former NJPW champion shocked the NXT world when she made her first appearance during NXT No Mercy. Moreover, it didn’t even take her a week to take the stage and challenge the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez. Ahead of her match with Perez, Giulia made her debut against main roster talent Chelsea Green. The two delivered a fine performance and Giulia ended up getting the win on the night. Tommy Dreamer made his thoughts known on the match while hosting Busted Open Radio. Let’s take a look at what he had to say:“The girl has all the qualifications, and with her debut, you're like ‘This girl has it,’”“I wasn't studying the match to overly critique it ... but I thought the match worked last night. If I was the producer of that match, I would say, 'Girls, you did a great job. In fact, there is a whole fandom on social media that would love to see the former NJPW champion takeover NXT. While this may sound far-fetched, it is actually a real possibility at the moment. The NXT Women’s Championship is help by Roxanne Perez, who is already prepared for the main roster. However, Perez won’t be able to ascend while she is still the champ. So her upcoming match against Giulia is the perfect opportunity for Roxanne to make her way to the main roster while also establishing a new face for the NXT Women’s division. However, WWE will have to do a lot of work on Giulia’s character to make this a possibility. Her rigid yet clean fighting style has impressed the fans, and she already has a lot of people cheering for her. As long as WWE are able to help the fans connect with Giulia’s character, nothing will stop her from taking over NXT. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of who Giulia really is over the coming weeks.
