Giulia made her highly anticipated in-ring debut for
WWE during NXT 9/10. She took on Chelsea Green in just her first match after getting in an altercation with her during her first appearance on NXT. Both Giulia and Chelsea Green fought hard, but the latter just didn’t have enough in the tank to get the win tonight.
Giulia is going to be challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship in a couple of weeks. So, she desperately needed a win against Roxanne Perez, who is already an established star on WWE’s main roster. Following her win, Giulia was seen backstage with WWE legend Funaki and GM Ava. Let’s take a look at the events that unfolded.

In a backstage segment, Funaki, Ava and Giulia were all seen interacting with each other, but their moment was ruined by NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez. The champ made it clear to Giulia that despite her fame and popularity in Japan, she won’t be able to take over NXT because it’s her territory.
Now, WWE legend Funaki was stepping in for Giulia, but the Beautiful Madness held him back and gave her own reply to Perez.
Giulia said that Perez was scared, and she has reason to be now that the NXT Women’s Championship match is getting ever so close. From the looks of it, Giulia is not the least bit bothered about having to take on one of the most talented women on WWE’s roster.
Also, the fact that she held back Funaki to send her own message to Perez just goes to show how strong of a character she is. But even the strongest need help from time to time, so it would serve Giulia well to take all the guidance and help that Funaki can offer her. Giulia has finally started off on her WWE journey, gladly it happened with a win. Hopefully, she’ll be able to keep her momentum ahead of her title match against Roxanne Perez. It’ll be interesting to see what else Giulia has in store for us over the coming weeks.
